Percy Pig World

The Challenge:

To deliver an experiential shopping environment that would showcase the extensive Percy Pig range across Foods, Clothing and Home. In a fun, interactive and engaging brand environment where customers would visit multiple time with an opportunity for a social post or two!

Our Approach and Process:

We started by mapping out the customer journey and touch points for interaction and engagement , whilst ensuring the design worked with and enhanced the existing store equipment.

Disrupt the Customer journey.

Not shying away from the brand colour pink, we fully immersed Percy World in said brand colour. The large Percy head entrance dominated the area and could be seen from across the store, inviting inquisitive customers to the area Once at the pop up they couldn’t resist to look inside.

Deliver a Brand moment that is fun and engaging.

From the cheeky character poses at the entrance, the bright interior with neon LED signage, floating clouds and daisy floor vinyl’s set the idyllic outdoor scene with friendly “oinks hitting the senses. The interactive Percy Face and Daisy insta wall give customers the reason to dwell and strike a pose!

  Showcase the extensive Percy Pig range.

The flexibility of design worked seamlessly with the existing store kit to ensure all products could be merchandised to brief and to the correct product densities. This enabled the pop up to be installed with little disruption to the store team.

Deliver one consistent brand handwriting.

The total marketing packages worked seamlessly together to deliver a consistent brand handwriting from store design, POS headers and gondola graphics through to product. Once inside the pop up you are truly immersed in Percy’s world.

Create Instagram able feature areas.

The interactive feature walls not only enhance the space visually enticing the customer to find out more. They give an element of fun and cheekiness. Creating insta moments that can be experienced with friends whether instore or online. Who doesn’t like a selfie, we know Percy does! 

An interactive Percy Pig Wall with layered Percy Pig faces with light up ears and “oink” sound buttons gave a fun element to the pop up. Along with a neon daisy insta wall for those insta moments. The perimeter was also treated with the vibrancy of colour to ensure a 360-degree immersive experience with large half spherical Percy heads to create a feature pick and mix wall.

Project Result:

We were able to offer a full design management service from conceptual to delivery. Our creative designers always have one eye on production to ensure the design intent is not compromised once manufacture and installation is complete. Understanding the store environment, we were able to create a design that worked seamlessly with the existing environment ensuring it could be returned to the original footprint when required. We were able to sample quickly and efficiently throughout the design process, so the design intent was delivered right first time.

 

Percy Pig World delivers a brand moment that is interactive and engaging whilst reflecting the character of Percy, happy, fun, and wholesome. The vibrant shop within shop environment, disrupts the customer journey, bringing an experimental shopping experience that showcases the extensive Percy Pig range across food and home. There is an opportunity for an insta moment with an interactive Percy feature Wall and a LED daisy backdrop, appearing on many a insta reels. Customers go out of their way to visit and due to the success has been extended to be in store for 6mths instead of the planned 3mths.

Quagga supported the store design team to visualise and bring the concept alive. Their design proposals are always thought through to ensure the creative can be fulfilled. Offering a complete design management service from design, development through to manufacture and installation gives us peace of mind the project will be delivered.”
